Let's Laugh

       I've cried often -

            throughout my lifetime.

       And Jesus was always there,

              to hold - to comfort - to heal.

       Then after my struggle

            with the tears.

       Learning to overcome

            the pain.

       To trust - not only Jesus -

            but the part of Him

               that lives in me.

       I knew, at last, I was beyond

            the frightening reality

               of life.

       When one glorious day -

            I ran to Jesus -

       as I’d done so many

            many times before.

       And He said,

            "Let's laugh."
