Beyond Today - Forever

                  Death...

                  The final step in this life,

                  the first step into eternity.

                  How deep the chasm,

                  how far the fall... no one knows -

                  And yet,

                  we are all aware that one day,

                  we too, must stand

                  before the emptiness.

                  Fearfully, we resist -

                  frightened of the unknown

                  and nervous about what it holds for us.

                  But... when the time comes,

 we find beyond the darkness - a new life.

                  One without our anxious apprehensions.

                  We don't need to fear death -

                  for through it we will discover

                  the answer to it all.

                  "To lose life is to gain it."

                  Just as Jesus promised
