The Power of Prayer

Read

Luke 18:1-8

God's word tells us to pray without ceasing.

Does this mean we should be on our knees 24-7?

I don't think that's exactly what He's saying.

But God does want to get to know us - and the best way for that to happen is by spending time with Him..

Talk to Him continually... asking for His input - seeking His opinion, and  begging for His Mercy in situations over which we have no control..

Persistent praying is more than "the squeaky wheel" syndrome.  It keeps our face before God and shows Him we believe there's power in prayer.

Through prayer, we get to know His will and He gets to know us as an obedient child.

The closer we get to God the more we'll know when to claim victory.

Once we stop telling God 'what we want' and start asking Him for 'what we need; our prayers will have more power than we ever dreamed possible.
