So Much More

so much more

                           Christmas time is so much more

                               than a stable and some hay.

                           So much more than shepherds

                               who came to visit on that day.

                           To see beyond the crowded inn –

                               beyond the wise men from afar.

                           To understand the meaning of…

                               the manger and the star.

                            To see the reason for the Baby

                               Who came so long ago;

                           is the miracle of Christmas,

                               and the blessings it bestows.
