To be

                                  In my quest to be the best,

                                  I’d forgotten the:

                                      days of listening,  

                                          weeks of learning

                                              and years of loyalty required.

                                  These three things together

                                  brought me to my knees:

                                      wishing to be humbled,

                                          wanting to be blessed,

                                              and willing to be His.
