Confessing our Sins

Do you ever find yourself wondering what’s keeping us from being the person we know God wants us to be?

What’s keeping us from loving others with the depth of love God expects?

What keeps us from tithing, or helping those less fortunate than ourselves?

This lack of concern for our fellow man is called sin... and God hates sin.

I’m sure we all have a million excuses why we aren’t doing what God wants us to.

As a matter of fact there are as many excuses as there are sins... and God hates excuses.

Now, back to what is keeping us from being who God wants us to be.

That should read WHO is keeping us from being who God wants us to be.

We are the guilty party... the one in the mirror.

We look up to Heaven and cry out to God. "But, You don’t have any idea what I’ve gone through."

As a matter of fact He knows exactly what we’ve gone through, and it’s not a good enough reason to fall short of His glory.

We’re the ones who have no idea what He’s gone though.... from a manger in a stable to a cross in Galilee.
