Because I Believe

                       A long time ago a man named Jesus

                       staked His life that one day I'd believe.

                       And today I can praise our God in heaven.

                       Jesus didn’t die in vain on Calvary.               

                                                                                                                  

   He walked this earth in leather sandals

   He came to spread a message from above.

   And today it's the same from God in heaven.

   Jesus didn’t walk in vain to share His love.

 

                       He rose to prove this life's eternal.

                       He returned to show His wounded hands and side.

                       And today I can say to God in heaven.

                       "Your Son didn’t die in vain, I too shall rise."        

                   

  

                       Because I believe that Jesus Christ's my Savior.

                       Because I believe He died alone to set me free.

                       And today I can say that one day I will meet Him...

                       in the sky to spend eternity.  Because I believe
