Let's Stand for Something

When God created the universe, and all within it... He looked over the vastness and said.  "It is good."

And it was. 

When we view the world, we see pain, sorrow and shame.. 

In other words "Life" clouds our vision.

So many aspect of living cause us to paint a different picture than God intended us to see..   

He wanted us to live in a world of beauty, joy and peace. 

But we allowed sin to enter into the garden He created.. 

 Sin that is running rampant in this world we live in today.

 But we can't sit back and expect God to make our world perfect. 

If we're waiting for that, we'll be waiting a long time.  Not that He can't do it.  He could in an instant. 

But, He won't. 

He wants us to turn to Him and ask for the strength it will require for us to work together to once again see His creation the way He first saw it.  "Good."

It won't be a perfect world, where every action will bring about a "Just what the doctor ordered"

reaction. But a productive world, where every action will bring about a "constructive" reaction.  One we can build on... one that will bring about change.. 

Where we can look back and see what we did made it a little less difficult for those who live after

us.  

Where God can look back on what we did... and say, "It is good.".
