Restoration

                     Lord, I shouldn’t need

                         to keep crawling

                             back to You

                                 to feel worthy.

                     You showed me my worthiness

                         very humbly -

                             many years ago

                                 in a tiny stall.

                     Father, I shouldn’t need

                         To keep seeking

                             man’s approval

                                 to feel accepted.

                     You show me Your acceptance

                         very openly -

                             every single day

                                 by Your omnipotent love.

                     God, I shouldn’t need

                         to keep searching

                             for proof

                                 of Your grace.

You showed me Your graciousness

                         very plainly -

                             so long ago

                                 on an old rugged cross.
