Believing

Matthew 5:4

 

Do we believe when we close our eyes to pray – a power greater than our human minds can perceive - hears that prayer?

 

Do we honestly believe He answers that prayer? 

 

This same God Who made the earth in six days, actually cares how we feel?

 

Okay… let’s back up here.

 

Do we even believe there IS a God?

 

An almighty powerful being Who came as a baby to this earth He created; died on a cross, then arose from the dead to take His rightful place once again in Heaven?

 

Wait; there’s more.  Are we supposed to accept, without question, the fact He left a part of Himself behind to live within all who believe?

 

It’s difficult to wrap are minds around all that isn’t it?

 

But, this Omnipotent God Who created our world and all within it; also gives us the power to believe.  To earnestly believe without a shadow of a doubt, He is Who He claims to be.

 

And, beyond that:  He’s far more capable of answering our feeble cries for help, than we can even imagine.
