Our Alternate Fuel

 

When we’ve just been through a difficult time and we feel completely alone, somehow we find an inner strength that helps us persevere.  We can’t explain it, but it’s then when we realize, the answers aren’t found in life at all, but in the One Who created it.   

 

After we make it through this time, and we will, we look back and realize God, our sustainer and Creator was right there beside us in the midst of the storm.

 

When we don’t think we even want to go on, Jesus Christ is the high octane we weren’t even aware we had.  He’s our jump-start when the “things” of this life don’t seem to be filling our tank. 

 

The more we search for answers, hoping to find them on this earth; the more obscure they become.  It’s like a Chinese puzzle box.  There’s just one combination and only those who figure it out will find the treasure hidden within.  But, we, as the children of God, already have the combination to the greatest treasure known to man.  His name is Jesus and He’s the best fill-up there is when we’re running on empty.
