What if we Hadn't Prayed?

Many people feel prayer is wasted time.  That there is no almighty God Who listens to our every prayer.  That prayer is only a healing balm for the one on their knees.

There are prayer chains linking churches and people across the entire world, and when a need arises, all forms of communication are put into action.  Many prayer warriors are asked to pray for a specific illness or accident. 

We have no proof, actually, that God was the One Who touched the fevered brow, or calmed the weary soul… but I can’t help but wonder, as one who believes our Lord does listen and heal; what if we hadn’t prayed?
