A Land Rich in Heritage

We just got back from our Nations Capitol.  Wow, what an awe-inspiring city.  To see the words of our forefathers carved in mighty walls of granite.  To see the lush green grass of Arlington Cemetery and the pristine stones protruding from it in straight rows that went on and on caused a pride that swelled deep in our souls.  We saw The Vietnam wall bearing so many names of brave men and woman who gave their lives to keep us free.    There is a Navy monument, a world war two monument, and many more memorials to those who so proudly served our great country.  We have been well honored by their sacrifice.

One dominate theme that humbled me and greatly encouraged me was; In God We Trust.  I felt blessed for having seen it so unashamedly displayed.  May we never see those words erased from the walls of Washington D.C.

From what I've been hearing lately, it could very well be happening even as I write this. .  We still have the right to vote, and It's up to us... the people .  I pray the ones who have given and are still giving their lives... will not thave died in vain.

God said, “If we ever were ashamed of Him, He would spew us out of His mouth.” I felt safe, as I viewed this massive city.  How long will that last??
