Being free

Completeness

                       I wonder if You feel sometimes, Lord

                            You disappointed me

                       when I asked and didn’t receive.

                            When I didn’t understand Your ways.

                       Or when You didn’t answer

                            my ever prayer to my expectations.

                       But, throughout my lifetime

                            I’ve learned

                       You never did anything –

     That wasn’t for my betterment or good.

                       You may wonder sometimes

                             if You got through to me.

                       Well, You did.

                             And today – I am free.
