The Truth is:

Some people believe truth to be what they perceive it.

Still others let everyone else tell them where truth lay.

Then there are those who don't believe there is any truth at all.

I believe there is an inalienable truth we all can know and trust.

This truth is not words written by a few simply to make their own lives better for the moment.

Nor is it words spoken by those who say what will benefit only themselves at a later time.

The truth I speak of goes way back to a brightly shining star that led a few curious shepherds to a tiny stall where a baby lay in a straw-filled manger.

In today's world; this is the only truth that makes sense to me.
