Beyond tomorrow

Times may seem worse than they’ve ever been before. But, look to the mountains from whence cometh your strength. 

These words from the Bible should bring comfort to those of us who know God’s hand is still on America.

We were founded on that belief and we need to see beyond what is causing pain and anguish all around us.  I don’t mean pretend our world isn’t in chaos at this time; it is.  We can’t move forward by burying our heads in the sand.  What is happening is real.

But, look beyond where we find ourselves today.  Look beyond the political arena, where the game seems lost.  See the sunrise of tomorrow bringing joy and comfort to weary hearts and hope bringing truth to those who wonder is there anything left to cling to?

Yes, the hem of Christ’s garment still holds the power and healing it did for the woman who had bled for twelve long years.

America may still be hurting, but we cannot heal until we stop bleeding. 

Hang on, brothers and sisters; for God is still in charge.  Trust and believe.
